InvenioIndex is a profit and inventory tracker for resellers, made up of this website and the optional InvenioIndex Sync browser extension. This policy covers both. The short version: your data is used to run the product for you, it is never sold, and it is never shared with advertisers or data brokers.
Account information. Your email address and a hashed password, or the basic profile from the sign-in provider you choose.
Inventory and sales data. Everything you enter or import: item details, costs, photos, listing prices, sales, fees, expenses, and returns.
Marketplace listing data. When you run a sync, the extension reads the listings shown on your own seller pages on Poshmark, Depop, Vinted, and Facebook Marketplace — the listing id, title, price, size, brand, condition, and thumbnail — and sends them to your InvenioIndex account so they can be matched to your inventory.
Marketplace authentication, only if you enable it. If you turn on auto-listing for Poshmark from the extension popup, the extension reads your poshmark.com cookies and stores them on our server so listings can be created on your behalf while your computer is off. These credentials are used for that purpose only, are never shared, and are deleted when you disconnect or delete your account. If you do not enable auto-listing, no marketplace credentials leave your browser.
Connected accounts, only if you connect them. If you connect eBay or Gmail, we store the access tokens those services issue and read only what the feature needs — your eBay orders and listings, or the marketplace receipt emails Gmail returns for our search.
It does not read pages other than the marketplace seller pages listed above and InvenioIndex itself. It does not track your browsing, inject ads, or collect analytics. Permission to read images from other hosts is optional, asked for separately, and used only to attach your own item photos to a listing you are creating.
To operate the product: storing your inventory, calculating profit and fees, matching listings to items, pre-filling new listings, and importing sales. We also use it to support you when you ask, and to keep the service secure and working.
We do not sell your data, we do not share it with third parties for their own purposes, and we do not use it to train AI models.
We rely on a small number of processors that handle data on our behalf: Vercel (hosting), Supabase (database and photo storage), and OpenAI (the AI that reads a photo or receipt you upload to suggest item details; we may use Anthropic as an alternate provider). If you connect them, eBay and Google also process the data those integrations depend on. Payment details, if you subscribe, are handled by Stripe — we never see your card number. We may also use Klaviyo to send product emails about your account (for example after you sign up or hit a usage limit); that uses your account email and related product events, not your browsing history.
We keep your data for as long as your account exists. You can delete any item, sale, or connected account at any time from within the app, which removes the associated records. To delete your entire account and everything in it, email support@invenioindex.com and we will erase it.
Uninstalling the extension removes everything it stored locally in your browser, including the cached sync token. It does not delete your InvenioIndex account.
Data is encrypted in transit, passwords are hashed, and marketplace credentials are stored server-side and only replayed to the marketplace that issued them. No system is perfect, so if you believe your account has been compromised, contact us and we will revoke its sessions and stored credentials.
If this policy changes in a way that affects what we collect or how we use it, we will update the date at the top and, for significant changes, notify you in the app. Questions, requests for a copy of your data, or deletion requests go to support@invenioindex.com.
